To commemorate the LA Galaxy's 2011 Championship season, adidas and Major League Soccer have released a special edition PRIME official match ball to be used exclusively by the Galaxy for all 2012 home games.

Inspired by the Philip F. Anschutz trophy, the Championship edition PRIME is done up in metallic silver and gold to pay homage to the trophy's coloring and a unique graphic mirrors the trophy's shape and handles. The PRIME is the official match ball of the MLS and features a new panel design to provide more accurate and consistent ball movement, a matte finish for better grip and improved sealing for better performance in all weather conditions.
