adidas Presents New Kit For Argentina’s National Football Team
Buenos Aires, March 21st, 2016 – adidas revealed today the new design for Argentina’s National Football Team’s new kit, which will be worn during Copa América Centenario and the Southamerican Knockout Stages towards Russia 2018. It will debut next Thursday, March 24th during its visit to Chile.
For a change, the shirt presents the colors of Argentina’s flag on the back of the neck and the three white stripes along the sides.
Once again, the light blue and white stripes stand out with matching black details on the fists and neck, reflecting the headline shirts’ tradition and style throughout the Team’s history.
Finally, an embroidered badge is seen showing the initials and founding date of the Argentinian Football Association, along two stars representing their World Cup wins.
Lionel Messi, Ángel Di María, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Ángel Correa and Lucas Biglia were all part of the graphic campaign under the slogan: “Kick The Board”.
This new shirt is made from materials which were specifically designed to offer ultimate comfort inside the court, aiding in the control of body temperature and moisture. All thanks to the technologies CLIMALITE™, which is embedded into the fabric’s pores to absorb sweat and keep the player dry at all times; and CLIMACOOL™, which offers extra breathability with freshness and a permanent air flow in areas where the most heat is generated. The shirt also has an extra special seam cut called FORMOTION™, which delivers more freedom for movement and allows the player to feel freer and more comfortable than with a traditional shirt.
The new shirt will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, March 23rd in adidas stores throughout the country.
