TERREX Solo: Fast, light and secure to the next project

terrex solo
TERREX Solo, the result of working together with Beat Kammerlander, Bernd Zangerl, plus Thomas and Alexander Huber, is an approach shoe that is light, flexible and at the same time provides excellent stability. Having already won the Outdoor Industry Award, for summer 2012 the TERREX Solo has been further developed to bring grip and stability to a new level. TERREX Solo is a versatile approach shoe combining light weight, reliable traction and comfort. The asymmetrical climbing zone in the front part of the sole has such good grip that it can handle short vertical climbs no problem. The Huber Brothers have even climbed with it on a 6+ route. The midsole and heel are equipped with an extra grippy profile. As a result you get a safe foothold and control on all surfaces from wet paths to boulder blocks, and on impenetrable terrain in climbing areas to rocky descents from a multiple-pitch route. A TPU film reinforcement in the midsole makes the lightweight shoe extremely stable. The Protection Plate integrated into the midsole protects the foot from sharp rocks. Special adiPRENE® foam in the heel area cushions impacts and promotes a relaxed yet dynamic ride. Asymmetrical loops are fitted to the heels so that the shoes can easily be attached with a karabiner to your backpack or climbing harness to neatly hang parallel to each other.
