Jakub Kosecki a Polish professional footballer who currently plays for the Polish team Legia Warsaw. He is a son of a former Poland international Roman Kosecki. He was born on 29th august 1990 in Poland capital. Having begun his junior career playing in several foreign teams in France and United States such as FC Nantes, Montpellier SC and Chicago fire. After moving back to Poland he was training under watchful eye of his father in Kosa Konstancin. Following press speculation that Kosecki might join some of best polish teams, he moved to Legia Warsaw, where his dad also played.

To gain some needful experience he was loaned to a few polish clubs, proving his value. But his talent has just truly exploded in season 2012/2013. He moved back to Legia Warsaw and quickly became a basic player in starting eleven. Thanks to his goals, assists and good appearances in general he contributed to win a polish championship by his team. In the result he also made his debut in polish national team scoring goal in the second cap for Poland. At the end of season 2012/13, at the age of 22 he was named the polish league mvp (most valuable player).
