Adi Dassler Sportplatz, which can seat up to 2,100 spectators, is used for company sports, soccer tournaments, product testing and running sessions. The pitch is no stranger to big names either: During the 2005 Confederations Cup, the German National Team practiced here and this is where the Argentinean National Team will hold their training sessions during the 2006 FIFA World Cup™. Adi Dassler Sportplatz is the latest addition to the broad offering of sports activities for adidas employees in the World of Sports. Besides a basketball court Tracy McGrady once challenged an adidas team on, a tennis court Martina Hingis used for practice and a small synthetic turf soccer pitch, the area also includes a beach volleyball court.
