adidas Originals presents a duo of casual classics in a subtle reconfiguration this month, utilizing an unorthodox construction to put a new, minimalist twist on the Campus and Gazelle silhouettes.
Using the OG Gazelle and Campus ‘80s blueprints as a starting point, this latest release reimagines each of the iconic silhouettes in tonal colorways, constructed from premium suede and finished with subtle branding details and tonal laces.
Most significantly, the serrated 3-stripes marks that would typically adorn each shoe are switched out for a reversed seam technique, creating a smooth, fluid expression of the original design. Featuring tonal colors across the upper with a contrast white sole, it’s a release that celebrates the timeless appeal of the Campus and Gazelle silhouettes in their purest form, and a demonstration of how premium materials, crafted construction and an understated touch combine to create truly iconic footwear. Both the Campus and Gazelle will retail for $100.
