This November, adidas Originals channels the unparalleled street aesthetic of the Forum silhouette into a comprehensive apparel range for men and women.
Inspired by street cultures from around the globe, the range translates the Forum’s ‘80s roots into a modern streetwear context, combining bold colors, striking prints and unique paneling to create a new expression of original Forum style.
For the men’s offer, this approach is applied to a range of wardrobe essentials such as track pants, t-shirts, sweats and outerwear, accented with aggressive details like stripes, 3-stripe motifs and angular panels. Highlight pieces include the AOP Down Hooded Jacket, an insulated parka silhouette decorated with an allover “A” print graphic, and the ST Pete Puffer Vest, combining an angular construction with bold branding details to create a versatile statement piece.
For the women’s collection, this same ethos produces a similarly relaxed, street-ready apparel range, with extended silhouettes and wide-fit designs adding a contemporary touch to the more feminine collection. The range’s allover “A” print returns on jerseys and sweats, whilst a bright gold windbreaker jacket adds subtle ‘80s athleticism to the range, whilst the standout Hooded Dress uses embossed graphic details and velour paneling to bring the late ‘80s luxury to the fore.
Releasing in a concise range of simple and versatile colors, the collection pairs perfectly with the Forum silhouettes that inspired it, culminating in a nostalgic sportswear collection that doesn’t sacrifice its forward-thinking aesthetic.
