adidas AAG TECHFIT East
adidas today unveiled new TECHFIT football uniforms for the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, the nation's premier high school football all-star game. The most elite high school football players in the country will debut the new adidas TECHFIT uniforms when they take the field at the Alamodome in San Antonio on January 4, 2014 as the U.S. Army All-American Bowl kicks off at 1pm ET on NBC.

Thirty percent lighter than traditional jerseys, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl adidas TECHFIT uniform is designed to help make players faster at every position on the field. The updated uniform includes adidas TECHFIT ShockWeb technology, designed to keep players fast, cool and mobile onfield. adidas ShockWeb features engineered body mapping, which maximizes compression zones across the chest and sides, in a lightweight knit structure that provides a tight fit with enhanced range of motion. Integrated CLIMACOOL mesh zones create airflow to keep players cool in every temperature.

The U.S. Army All-American Bowl jerseys are black for the East and vivid yellow for the West, both featuring silver metallic numbers – laser cut and printed – highlighted with adidas' shockwave graphic. Large silver metallic shockwave graphics appear on both shoulders with lightweight stretch heat transfers that work with the ShockWeb technology keeping the uniforms light and fast. Both teams will wear black pants with a vertical silver metallic shockwave graphic and U.S. Army All-American down the leg. The East will wear black helmets and West vivid yellow, both with the U.S. Army logo, silver metallic shockwave and U.S. Army All-American graphic on the back. U.S. Army All-American Bowl players will debut a new vivid yellow colorway of Robert Griffin III's signature cleat in addition to the lightest cleat in football, the adizero 5-Star 3.0.

More than 200 alumni of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl currently play in the NFL, including adidas athletes DeMarco Murray of the Dallas Cowboys, Eric Berry of the Kansas City Chiefs and C.J. Spiller of the Buffalo Bills.
