Taekwondo is the hottest sneaker in the world, according to the @Lyst Index for the first quarter of 2025, and directly behind it is the Puma Speedcat Ballet.
Searches for “ballet sneakers” also rose 1300 percent in the quarter on Lyst’s app.
With its sporting origins right there in its name, the Taekwondo was first produced by Adidas in the ’80s and got its original run in the lifestyle space in the early ’00s. It was brought back out of the archives last year following the success of two other archival flats, the Samba and Gazelle, and has been revamped for Bad Bunny’s Ballerina silhouette.
