- With its new partners, adidas intensifies its investment in the future of the game, built on speed and power.
Ahead of this year’s draft, adidas proudly welcomes 12 first-class athletes to the three stripes, bolstering its roster of the most elite players in the sport. With three projected top-10 picks and several first rounders, adidas’ 2025 rookie class boasts athletes with the rare combination of speed and power required to make an impact at the next level.
Existing adidas two-way player and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter is joined by dominant defenders including Chuck Bednarik Award finalist Abdul Carter; Butkus Award winner and national champion Jalon Walker; former Texas A&M teammates Shemar Stewart and Nic Scourton; talented cornerback Shavon Revel; and Maxwell Hairston, who put up the combine’s fastest 40-yard dash time this year. Offensively, Hunter is joined by national champion Emeka Egbuka and playmakers including Jalen Royals, Elijah Arroyo and Nick Nash.
As part of their partnerships, the rookies will sport select adidas apparel and footwear on and off the field, and some will be featured in brand marketing campaigns.
“adidas has been great in how they've supported me on my journey to the league,” said Travis Hunter. “I can’t wait for everyone to see the exciting things we’ve got cooking for my rookie season as we bring speed and style together.”
These players join an elite roster of adidas Football partners including Patrick Mahomes, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Garrett Wilson, Chris Jones, David Njoku, Tua Tagovailoa, Aaron Jones, Trevor Lawrence, Brock Purdy, Darius Slayton and last year’s rookie class featuring Rome Odunze, Adonai Mitchell, Xavier Legette, Michael Penix Jr. and Ladd McConkey.
