- In the second year of partnership with BCCI, adidas reveals a fresh design for the shorter format of the game
- With the tricolour on the neck and a bright orange sleeve, the new T20 jersey is now available for fans at two different price points – Rs. 5999 (authentic match jersey) and Rs. 999 (fan jersey)
adidas, the official kit sponsors of the Indian cricket team, has unveiled the new national team jersey for the T20 format. The new kit will be first worn by the India Men’s team during the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup starting from the 1st of June 2024.
Having an extremely successful year 1 of the partnership, adidas is now set to embark on the next chapter with the BCCI in the second year as official kit sponsors for Team India. To provide the best for the athletes in the upcoming tournament, adidas will be providing the players of the Indian Cricket Team with the brand-new match wear alongside a revamped training range and travel wear.
The design of the new T20 jersey features the tricolour details on the neck complemented by a solid blue and orange colour block aesthetic, the jersey is crafted to give Team India a fresh and sporty appearance, ideal for the fast-paced shorter format of the game.
To provide a comfortable and lightweight fit, the new T20 jersey uses heat transfers for the iconic 3 stripes, the BCCI & the adidas logo – all applied to a breathable fabric. Made with 100% recycled materials, the jersey incorporates adidas' HEAT.RDY technology with the authentic version crafted from the same fabric used to create the iconic FIFA World Cup 2022 adidas jerseys.
