Trinity Rodman and the NWSL’s Washington Spirit today announced the historic renewal of Rodman’s contract with the team, defining a new standard for women's sports in the U.S. and across the globe.
The announcement, set to inspire the next generation of female athletes and encourage young girls around the world, was made by Rodman at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California, alongside Washington Spirt Owner Michele Kang and Spirit President of Soccer Operations Haley Carter.

The Spirit forward and adidas athlete marked one of the biggest moments in women’s sports history with an elegant, yet bold, outfit styled by renowned celebrity stylist Karla Welch. Welch styled Rodman in pieces that blended adidas’ sport heritage with pieces from Willy Chavarria, accentuated by personalized nails that reflect Trinity’s love for Washington, D.C., her team and her partnership with adidas.
