Today, we have launched the Official Match Ball for the knockout stages of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League season.
With the Final taking place in Saint Petersburg on Saturday 28th May, the design of the ball is inspired by the beautiful sky of the midnight sun during the so called “White Nights” that the city is famous for from May to July. The Official Match Ball has a thermally bonded construction, solid PU surface material, a rhombus carcass & high grade butyl bladder.
Earlier this year, adidas announced a significant expansion of its relationship with UEFA which extends to sponsorship of the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship. The expansion also includes the official partnership with UEFA Women’s Football from 2021-2025, covering all UEFA Women’s competitions.
