adidas Originals presents a uniquely unconventional take on the ZX-8000 silhouette working with long-time collaborators and Japanese streetwear icons, atmos. At once a nod to the past and a look to the future, the collaborative sneaker takes the ZX series to never before seen aesthetic dimensions.
Paying homage to the retailer’s previous ZX collaboration in 2011, dubbed the “G-SNK”, this year’s atmos ZX-8000 is made up in a bold fluorescent colourway. Adding a touch of the unconventional, atmos’ unique approach to the iconic running trainer is comprised of a contrasting dual material upper made up in glow-in-the-dark snakeskin and solar yellow pony hair. The striking silhouette is then capped off with matching neon green sock liners, laces, tongue tabs, and lace jewels. Linking the collaboration back to the landmark series, the sneaker comes packaged in an all-white commemorative A-ZX box.
