adidas Originals presents Torsion X

This month, adidas Originals presents a brand new silhouette of Torsion models, pushing the series’ progressive reimagining of enduring ‘80s and early ‘90s design elements ever further.

 

 

As with previous Torsion silhouettes, the Torsion X model makes use of an innovative outsole divided into 5 distinct segments, complementing the natural movement of the foot and allowing greater freedom of movement.

 

The shoe’s upper features a lightweight textile upper with structural overlays and tonal 3-stripe mark, featuring a comfortable Boost midsole and a durable rubber outsole.

 

Contrast elements in Hi-Res Yellow, Shock Pink, Active Blue, Easy Mint and Scarlet accentuate the shoe’s distinctive podular tooling and add pops of color, while branding details on the tongue and heel complete the offer, finished with a custom sockliner.

 

Boldly continuing the impact of the contemporary Torsion series, as well as celebrating the legacy of its ‘80s and ‘90s origins, the Torsion X model is a testament to the power of rediscovery and reinvention, translating the innovation of an archive technology, and placing it in an innovative contemporary context.

 

The Torsion X model releases worldwide on September 14^th 2019.
