This month, adidas Originals brings back a distinctive athletic model in a modern mutation, creating the LXCON silhouette. Inspired by the design of its OG iteration, the LXCON model presents iconic design language in a contemporary context, creating one of the most striking shoes of the year so far.
The shoe’s classic mesh construction is structured by a unique TPU cable running from the heel to the vamp, combining with the shoe’s embroidered 3-Stripe mark to create an unorthodox lacing system. Contrast stitching details and welded details complete the picture, finished with the LXCON model’s striking adiPRENE midsole. The result is a shoe that combines the aggressive aesthetic of the past with contemporary style touches, culminating in a modern silhouette which could only have come from the adidas archive.
The style will release globally on February 2nd.
