adidas Originals x OAMC: Announcing Fall/Winter 2020 Drop One

For Fall/Winter 2020, adidas Originals and forward thinking menswear label, OAMC, have reunited to create a carefully considered capsule of exclusive footwear silhouettes. Inspired by lightweight technical design and the contrast between synthetic performance and natural materials, the collection merges progressive aesthetics with innovative techniques. Blending iconic adidas archive elements with futuristic details, drop one features the launch of the Type O-8 silhouette, as well as an updated take on the popular Type O-5 style. 

A fresh take on the timeless Samba, the Type O-8 sneaker is defined by a clean aesthetic. Elevating the look of the iconic original, OAMC’s forward thinking take on the silhouette features a soft leather upper and suede overlays. Then, adding a distinct artisanal edge, the shoe’s 3-Stripes are embellished with stitched details. Rounding out the design are a lace closure and rubber outsole. Bringing OAMC’s vision to life, the type O-8 silhouette is available in four subtle colorways — olive drab, white with black accents, black, and an OAMC.com exclusive dust white. 

Completing the lineup for drop one’s sneaker offering is a return of the trail running-inspired Type O-5 silhouette. Marked by a distinctly utilitarian approach, the Type O-5 style features a streamlined nubuck upper with moulded TPU pieces, leather overlays and a rubber outsole. Staying true to OAMC’s reputation as a label that never ceases to push boundaries, the Type O-5 silhouette is available in blue mist, black and dust white colorways, the latter of which being an OAMC.com exclusive. 

Fall/Winter 2020 adidas Originals by OAMC drop one will launch globally on September 4th.
