adidas Nite Jogger reveals the 'Speed of Night' X-Model Pack

For the latest release of adidas Originals’ Nite Jogger silhouette, the brand explores the shoe’s functional roots in late-night road-running, creating an exclusive two-shoe release that pushes visibility and reflectivity to its furthest possible reaches in the ‘Speed of Nite’ pack.

 

 

Comprising of the Nite Jogger and FYW-S97 silhouettes, the ‘Speed of Nite’ pack applies a number of reflective elements to each shoe’s design, assuming a striking Acid Green colorway reminiscent of car headlights and night-vision technology.

 

First up, the Nite Jogger model assumes a classic suede and textile upper in tonal grey, countered with reflective a 3-Stripe mark and reflective elements on the forefoot and ankle, countered by essential Boost tooling. Branding details on the tongue and heel complete the picture, creating an understated model with outspoken aesthetic touches.

 

Next, the FYW-S97’s exaggerated, late ‘90s design is brought to the fore with an almost entirely-tonal suede and textile construction, contrasted by yellow details on the lace system and sockliner, as well as reflective details across the side. This is then placed atop the shoe’s distinctive FYW midsole tooling, rounded off with branding hits on the heel and tongue.

 

As a final touch, each shoe in the release is then finished with a unique printed sockliner, as well as understated ‘Morse Code’ details. The result is an elevated release which applies a unique aesthetic mode to two of adidas Originals’ most exciting contemporary silhouettes.
