ADIZERO UBERSONIC 4: BUILT FOR ULTIMATE SPEED ON THE COURT

Today we are revealing the adizero Ubersonic 4, built for speed. The updated tennis shoe introduces fresh technologies to the court for uncompromising agility, enabling players to respond in a game that’s faster now than ever.

Building on the performance of the iconic Ubersonic models, the adizero Ubersonic 4 boasts three new innovations which come together to offer a truly fresh experience. The midsole features Lightstrike, which provides super-light cushioning for fast pace movements without compromising direct court feel. A woven PRIMEGREEN mesh upper provides stability and support for lateral movements and changes of direction, and is layered on top of a breathable, comfortable knitted sock construction. The model will be available in hard and clay court outsoles.

Supporting the performance benefits of the shoe, the collection is also designed with an eye on adidas’ commitment to end plastic waste. The upper is made with PRIMEGREEN – a high-performance yarn made with 50% recycled content, part of the brand’s journey toward reaching more than 50% total volume of recycled polyester by the end of 2020, and to using only recycled polyester in all products across the business by 2024.

Launching in a limited-edition ‘Top Secret’ colorway, the adizero Ubersonic 4 features a bold print re-imagined from those seen on iconic sports cars. The sharp, angular lines in the design provide a visual language that represents an emphasis on speed and faster play.

The adizero Ubersonic 4 (RRP € 140 / $ 130) in ‘Top Secret’ will be available from December 1^st at adidas.com and via the adidas app.
