adizero Afterburner 6 Cleats

The next generation of fast cleats are finally here and making a statement with a white and rose gold colorway, highlighted by adidas’ iconic 3-Stripes embedded on the outer edge of each cleat.

The adizero Afterburner 6 takes the baseball cleat silhouette to the next level with an all-new aerodynamic sneaker profile that’s been specifically built for baseball’s fastest players. Featuring a tongue-less bootie construction that feels like a natural extension of the foot and provides a sock-like compressive fit, the adizero Afterburner 6 cleats are the lightest cleat in the game.

At the forefront of innovation, design and craftsmanship, the adizero Afterburner is engineered with a lightweight upper and features an all-new widened anatomical lacing system to deliver a custom lockdown fit, along with the flexibility that allows for multidirectional movement and control. A reinforced TPU toe cap provides abrasion protraction and structure for lateral movements and sprints between the bases.

The comfortable yet durable upper sits atop a full-length LITESTRIKE EVA midsole for increased cushioning and comfort. LITESTRIKE, a new super-light midsole that provides the perfect balance of lightweight cushioning and on-field responsiveness. Concepted from fundamental consumer insights and a true need for innovation, LITESTRIKE gives players full movement support and improved step-in comfort without any extra weight.

The adizero Afterburner 6 is powered by a rose gold electro-finished SPRINTFRAME plate that’s been completely redesigned with both metal and secondary TPU studs to provide optimized traction while minimizing weight while reaching extra bases and stealing bags.

Additional detailing includes “Charged Up” battery and full signal icons on the lateral side of the cleats, the adidas Badge for Sport logo on the upper bootie and heel, and the “adizero” logo on the medial size of the cleats. ($130)

Icon V Cleats

New for 2019, the Icon V introduces a new fit system, featuring a flexible, elastic ankle bands for ease of entry at the top of the tongue-less bootie and a new back-lacing configuration with silicon lace loops to provide a lockdown fit with ankle mobility for the ultimate sock-like fit.
