Introducing the adidas 26rs
London – Introducing a running club with a difference, the adidas 26rs is a new club inspired by marathon running and is designed to offer runners of all levels of ability a truly personalised training experience in the heart of a city famous for it's marathon.
The adidas 26ers launched today in Bishopsgate, London with Olympic marathon runners Scott Overall and Liz Yelling, plus GB Internationals Aly Dixon, Elle Vernon and James Shane to officially open the club.
The adidas 26rs gives London runners a new home for marathon training, offering daily supervised runs, free trials of adidas Boost footwear, and access to shower and locker facilities.
The adidas 26rs will be based in the engine room of the London Marathon Store at 1-3 Norton Folgate, Bishopsgate London E1 6DB. More information at www.adidas26rs.co.uk or join the conversation using #adidas26rs.
The adidas 26rs will be on hand 7 days a week to offer members advice on everything from training kit to race-day pacing, whether a runner is aiming for a sub-3-hour PB, to a novice runner looking to complete their first half marathon.
London's runners can sign up for free membership to the adidas 26rs by visiting www.adidas26rs.co.uk and completing the simple form.
adidas 26rs ambassador and expert marathon coach, Martin Yelling commented, "the 26rs brings marathon runners and aspiring marathon runners together to draw inspiration from each other, to run together and to get marathon ready. With the Virgin Money London Marathon only weeks away, the adidas 26rs will be the perfect hub to promote marathon running in the capital and help runners on their journey to 26.2miles."
